The river Weser seemed utterly overfished, Zander/pikeperch appeared to be extinct. So after weeks of bad luck in Bremen we pulled out all the stops and took off to Stockholm. “Man forges his own destiny”, they say. The plan was easy, yet promising: How could we possibly NOT catch fish in Sweden? Right…? Wrong!! Of the TWO pikes we actually caught a glimpse of, only ONE faintly touched the lure.
